About

Simon is a Chartered Accountant and previously a West Dorset District Councillor. Simon and his wife Una, a former West Dorset district nurse lives in the same village where his family has lived for over a hundred years. Simon is a farming specialist Chartered Accountant. He has been active for many years in local politics, in the local community and with the church. Simon has been chairman of Dorset Council planning committee for South and West Dorset. He has sat on the Shadow Dorset Council, economic development advisory panel and continues to advise in respect of economic development using his decades of experience in the Dorset business community. Prior to being a local government councillor, Simon was chairman of governors of a local state school.

Outside of work, Simon's main interests include walking, cycling watching football and and cricket.
